St. Jude Family

OUR STORY

St. Jude Family Project is non governmental organization registered in Uganda No.S.5914/2000 and was founded by Josephine Kizza and her Late husband John Kizza.

Started with a humble beginning, St.Jude Family Project now trains and supports local farmers that want to become sustainable and want to learn better farming practices. We train them in agro-ecology and organic farming, using integrated systems to prevent waste and mitigate the effects of climate change. We work with women farmers’ groups, youth, schools, and in the local community. We have also initiated women’s cooperatives and a dried furuit processing plant to add value to crops to provide better livelihoods for farmers.
